RasGas is engaged in the business of production and sale of Liquefied Natural Gas and related hydrocarbon products. At present the company operates a five – train onshore facility and one sales gas train at Ras Laffan, which is located 80km north of the capital city Doha, in the State of Qatar.

Machinery & Reliability Supervisor
Possesses higher national certificate or equivalent with 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas field rotating equipment / machineries, with at least 5 years at the Supervisory level. Knowledge of various Oil & Gas machinery/rotating equipment and control, troubleshooting gained by education and hands-on experience. Experienced in developing complete work-scope of major rotating machineries overhauls with all safety and reliability prerequisites. Computer literate with knowledge of SAP and commonly used Microsoft business software packages.
Lead Machinery Technician
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education. Minimum of 8 years experience in mechanical maintenance work in the oil and gas industry. The jobholder should be fully qualified to maintain and overhauling of machinery/rotating equipment in the plant include but are not limited to centrifugal and positive displacement compressors and pumps, hydraulic turbine and turbine expander-compressor, fans & blowers. Familiarities with GE heavy-duty industrial gas turbinesand centrifugal compressors would be ad added advantage
Computer literate with knowledge of SAP and commonly used business software applications. Good written and oral communication skills in English. Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member. Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs
Turbo/Machinery Technician
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education. Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical rotating/ machinery maintenance work in the oil and gas industry. The jobholder should be fully qualified to maintain and overhauling of machinery/rotating equipment in the plant include but are not limited to centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, Hydraulic turbine/turbine expander, fin fans and blowers, MOV and familiar with GE gas turbine frame 5, 6&7.
Condition Monitoring Technician
Higher National Certificate or Diploma [NC or HND] or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years experience in Machinery Condition Monitoring and frontline and diagnostics in LNG, refining or other sophisticated hydrocarbon-processing environment. Able to demonstrate predictive maintenance diagnostics skills using various tools and techniques, such as vibration, taking thermography images, conducting lube oil samplings and analysis, and noise surveys.
Lead Condition Monitoring Technician
Higher National Certificate or Diploma [HNC or HND] or equivalent Minimum of 10 years experience in Machinery Condition Monitoring and diagnostics in LNG, refining or other hydrocarbon-processing plants. Able to demonstrate predictive maintenance & diagnostic skills using various tools techniques, such as on-line (such as Bentley Nevada System 1) and off-line vibration monitoring and analysis, lube oil collection/analysis, piping vibrations, valve passing tests, thermography and Gas Seals and Magnetic bearings monitoring
The Lead Technician is required to undertake preliminary data analysis of the critical machineries and reported findings to Condition Monitoring Supervisor.
Condition Monitoring Supervisor
Possesses Higher National Certificate or Diploma with minimum 15 years of experience in Condition Monitoring diagnostics in Oil & Gas e.g. LNG, refining or other hydrocarbon-processing plants. Understand and able to plan, coordinate and supervise Condition Monitoring technicians to ensure all Condition Monitoring maintenance programs and work activities are well achieved the target and translated in to highest reliability and availability of machineries. The CM supervisor has to be excellent in machinery-strings diagnostics and troubleshooting. The incumbent must have very good leadership & managerial skills, have been sitting in supervisory position. A BSc degree in mechanical engineering with good hands-on exposures in machinery and reliability is highly preferable.
